Account Associate

Today Media Inc/Hudson Valley is seeking an Account Associate, an entry-level position into the exciting world of Magazine Media Publishing. This position will allow the candidate to learn a wide-array of marketing practices and solutions, spanning the latest opportunities in print, digital, and event marketing.
The Account Associate will work directly with the Publisher and sales team to develop, present, implement and report on multi-platform advertising campaigns for our clients. There will also be an opportunity to directly sell special projects and make extra money in commissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create sales proposals and presentations
- Assist Account Professionals with trafficking and collecting materials for published ads
- In coordination with the Marketing Director, maintain media kits and sales collateral
- Manage sales inquiries for rates, ad/edit calendars, media kits etc
- Assist Marketing Director with placement and production of promotional ads
- Manage sponsorships, special advertising sections, premium positions and inserts
- Participate in sales meetings
- Support special events including the Best of Hudson Valley Party and Women in Business
- When needed, enter advertising contracts
- Present sales opportunities to prospects for special ad programs
Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment
- Desire to exceed standards within a goal-oriented organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
